Welcome

Dear Voter,

I am a Republican candidate for Representative to Ohio House District 44. I most humbly ask for your vote in the primary election on May 5.

Ohio House District 44 includes Waterville, Whitehouse, Sylvania, Monclova Township, Waterville Township, Northwood, Rossford, Genoa, and Curtice. Three candidates, including me, will be on the ballot in the May 5 primary for the Republican nomination to run in the general election in November. I encourage you to vote in the May primary, and select a Republican ballot. And, of course, vote for me.

As I have always said, I am a public servant, not a politician. From my first game as a volunteer soccer coach, to leading campaigns for school issues, to membership on the Anthony Wayne Board of Education, and most recently as a member of Waterville City Council, I have enjoyed every minute of public service. With an education in accounting and law, many years of community service, over 40 years in the practice of law, and extensive experience in local government, I believe that I am most qualified to represent you in Ohio House District 44.

In 1973, the population of Lucas County was about 488,500 – almost half a million people. Last year, 2025, an estimated 424,000 people called Lucas County home. That is a loss of almost 65,000 residents in about 50 years. Rather than growing and prospering, we have been in a steady decline. We cannot allow this trend to continue.

I hope to have your support for my campaign and would be honored to earn your vote. You can help me greatly by simply asking your family and friends, and everyone you meet, to vote for me in early voting or on Election Day in May.

In addition to your vote and spreading the word, I most humbly ask for your financial support. In return, I will give you my commitment to campaign vigorously and, when elected, to serve all the residents of District 44 with dedication and honesty.

Whatever amount you choose to contribute, I will receive with deep gratitude. Thank you for your consideration and support. If you have questions, comments, or suggestions, please call or write at anytime.

With my sincere best regards,

John Rozic
